All my pieces are made by hand on the pottery wheel, they are made to approximate measurements, however no two pieces will ever be identical. Each piece is unique and will vary in size, shape and finish. Please expect your pot to be perfectly imperfect and full of character.
I wrap your pottery carefully using recycled paper to both wrap and protect the piece. It’s then packed in a small box and stuffed with brown packing paper. I don’t use any bubble wrap and find this method effective with breakages being very rare.
My stoneware pottery is fired very high (1260*C) so is watertight and can be put in the dishwasher. However I don’t recommend continuous long-term use as over time the high temperatures and chemicals can weaken the pot and make it more likely to crack or dis-colour. It’s wise to be careful when using in the oven and avoid thermal shock by placing in a cold oven to heat up slowly. It’s best to avoid regular use in the microwave, however occasional use is fine.
If you are not happy with your pottery or it is cracked or broken on arrival, please contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org for a full refund or a replacement. You have 28 days to return the item.
I send everything wrapped very carefully via first class post. Items are dispatched within 2-3 working days and take 1-2 days to be delivered. Therefore please expect 3-5 working days for your order to arrive. Delivery costs £3.70 or £5.70, depending on how many items you order. However if you order a large number of items, I will send this via courier rather than Royal Mail at the cost of £13.
I offer worldwide shipping via International tracked (Royal Mail) which costs from £8 to £30 depending on where you are in the world. Very large orders will be sent via courier and this can cost up to £80 depending on location. Please note any costs incurred by customs when arriving in the country must be paid by the recipient, please be aware this can sometimes be 20 to 30% of the order cost, particularly in the EU. If you do not pay the customs charges and your parcel is safely returned to me and I will give you a full refund minus the delivery charge.
